Like most of those born into a year of the defending Dog, Shelly Wu spent a fair amount of her childhood fighting bullies -- taking up the gauntlet for the picked-on and the friendless.
 Shelly no longer scuffles with bullies, but her soapboxes still run high. She believes that: "In the perception of the smallest is the secret of clear vision; in the guarding of the weakest is the secret of all strength." - Lao Tzu
Shelly's horoscope columns and feature articles have appeared in A. Magazine: Inside Asian America, The Rainbow News, The Tea Leaf, Psychic Interactive, Your Stars, InTouch and LIFE magazines. Her articles have been featured on the Associated Press, ABC News, the BBC, and the Wireless Flash news service.
 In 1995, Shelly's website premiered in a new realm called the "Internet" and since that time has become a definitive Chinese astrology information source. Ms. Wu currently teaches Chinese and Mesoamerican Astrology at the Online College of Astrology in the Certification Preparation Department.
Shelly is author of the bestselling Chinese Astrology: Exploring the Eastern Zodiac and Chinese Sexual Astrology: Eastern Secrets to Mind-Blowing Sex. The Karma Sutra: Sex, Love and Relationship Zen is her third book and available Spring 2008.
Those who have met Shelly say she has a certain 'spark' that is unmistakable. Using an eclectic mixture of metaphysics and astrology, she has a gift for encouragement -- her best role being that of moral supporter.
